Jamu is a traditional medicinal drink used by Indonesian people since ancient times. Herbal medicine made from spices in the form of leaves, stems, flowers, fruit, bark, and rhizomes. that often as herbal turmeric red ginger. The part (Curcuma domestica) ginger (Zingiber officinale var. Rubrum) can be rhizome. This type research descriptive study only proves antibacterial activity measuring diameter inhibition zone herbs inhibiting growth process Salmonella typhi. method well method, an experimental study, population herbs. data analysis technique calculates fomed large formula, concentrations this were 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%. negative control was distilled water positive amoxicillin. with concentration variation 100% formed largest zone,the combination Turmeric Red Ginger average 4.6 mm, secondly, while 2.83 mm 2.33 average. inhibit typhi bacteria at dose 200 ml.
